Since 1997 Photowow was the original company that would take your photographs and turn them to art. What Photowow does is they take a photograph of yours and place it onto a canvas and frame it. When Photowow does this they can take your photograph and keep it original or edit it by; making it pop art, add texture to the photo, or adding brush strokes to the images. What makes this product great is that you can have a have a piece of meaningful art hanging on your wall that has sentimental value.

Wall DecorATTENTION: Those of you out there who want to add some flavor and excitement to a room, but can’t paint!
There is a great and simple solution. Just add some decals from Miraentu Interiors to the walls and surfaces of your home.
Incorporating two different styles is not always easy. Since we have a black drawer nightstand, I was really trying to avoid making our bedroom feel heavy and cluttered. I placed a large silver mirror ($19 at Ross) on top of it to show more depth and make the room look and feel bigger. I didn’t want my bedroom to look so masculine, so to remedy this I placed an Orchid, a small picture frame, and a porcelain square bowl in front of the mirror to soften everything. (I disagree with Ry about the lamp, but sometimes you just have to compromise…right?)

I was going through my photo albums of places I had visited and came across my trip to Frank Lloyd Wright’s Taliesin West. It’s been declared a national landmark. It’s a 600-acre complex that is nestled in the foothills of McDowell Mountains in Scottsdale, Arizona. I was very excited to finally see one of the great architect’s works (though my favorite is still Falling Water in Pennsylvania) and really get a good look. It’s very different to see a picture in a book compared to actually being in the space. It took a little while to drive out there and it was blistering hot outside but it is well worth it. I’m not a desert person, let alone hot weather, but it was beautiful. There were a lot of little design facts I learned about Taliesin West as our tour guide showed us around, including the use of a ‘light shelf’ roof and (if Wright had patented it) a theater walkway with lights built in. First of its kind!
